WHO ARE WE & WHAT DO WE DO?
RENTALS & EXPEDITIONS
A little bit about me.
-
Hi there! I’m Jake, the founder of First Adventures Outdoors, which I launched in January 2024. I started this venture after noticing a lack of outdoor trips and beginner-friendly expeditions near the Nisqually Entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. My goal? To open up the exciting world of outdoor exploration to those who are eager to get outside but aren’t quite sure where to begin!
-
An Eagle Scout at 18, I graduated with a degree in Recreation Management, and bring nearly a decade of experience working in the outdoor industry. From managing outdoor gear start-ups to leading outdoor trips for U.S. Military members, I’ve worn many hats. Currently, I work as an outdoor equipment manager at a local mountaineering outfitter, and I’m passionate about sharing my love for the outdoors with you.
-
Whether you're looking to rent top-quality gear for your own adventure or want a guide to help you take your first steps into the wilderness, I'm here to help make your outdoor experience fun, safe, and memorable!
-
Let’s hit the trail together—on your terms, at your pace. Along the way, we’ll get to know each other, explore the incredible landscapes, and dive into the world of outdoor activities.
